Job Duties:

• Serve as the point person for office manager duties including: maintenance, vendor repair, mail, supplies, equipment, errands, procurement

• Office Staff Scheduling Administration (Current staff on set schedules)

• Assistant to Executives (President, V.P., and Sr. HR Manager)

• Inter-office memos

• Office vendor coordination

• Landlord liaison

• Lease management

• IT liaison

• Multi-phone lines

• Coordinate office events, i.e. Christmas potluck

Preferred Qualifications:

• Detailed-oriented, efficient and organized

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Manage projects and follow through to completion

• Prior staff management

• Human Resources knowledge

• Some bookkeeping knowledge

• QuickBooks knowledge

• Commercial leases experience

• Intermediate office suite proficiency

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work indoors all day long

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English

• Knowledge and capability of intermediate math

• Ability to walk up and down stairs, up to several times a day

• Ability to sit at desk for up to an entire 8-hour day

• Fine motor-functions – use of keyboard and mouse for up to an entire 8-hour day

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

Requirements of the position:

• Reliable transportation with current driver’s license and valid registration and insurance

• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am – 6:15 pm

(Training schedule will be Monday through Friday – Training expected to last 2-3 months)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Interface with on-site staff re property and tenant issues

• Train and coach on-site staff

• Occasionally fill in for on-site staff

• Troubleshoot customer service, legal liability, procedural, software and hardware issues

• Monitor on-site staff compliance with company policies and procedures – investigate deviations

• Critique employees in various aspects of their jobs, including telephone sales calls

• Keep management staff abreast of operational issues

• Travel between locations: Kent to Oak Harbor and occasionally Silverdale (paid mileage)

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperature and weather

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English

• Walking extended distances – up to 200 yards

• Navigating multiple surfaces: indoors and outdoors; stairs, carpet, tile, linoleum, cement, pavement, dirt – surfaces may be uneven, hot, icy, snowy

• Sitting or standing for extended periods of time

Part-Time Bookkeeper

Busy and growing local commercial property management company in Everett, WA, looking to hire an experienced part-time Bookkeeper.

In-Office, 20-29 hours per week, Monday-Friday with some flexibility. Immediate opening.

• Reconcile petty cash

• Prepare financial statement reports for owners

• Prepare & record deposits

• Process small batch payments for commercial properties

• Renew business licenses & annual reports

• Monthly & weekly bank reconciliation

• Tenant ledger reconciliation

• Commercial property experience a plus

• Budget creation

• Various ad hoc reporting as directed by Controller

Qualifications Needed:

• QuickBooks Desktop and bookkeeping experience

• Be detailed-oriented, efficient, and organized

• Current/valid WA state driver license and a working reliable vehicle that is registered and insured (required)
